¡Bienvenidos! Welcome! At Morrisville High School, our Spanish class offerings have a rigorous curriculum that incorporates units from the Somos curriculum by Martina Bex, stories from Señor Wooly, and utilizes authentic and non-authentic resources. The Spanish curriculum is focused on creating students who are competent and confident communicators. An emphasis is placed on developing cultural competence so that students will understand how culture can affect language and will understand various peoples' practices and perspectives.

In addition to following the Pennsylvania State World Language standards, the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Language (ACTFL) "can do" statements and standards that cover communication, culture, connections, comparisons, and communities are also considered when creating and adapting the curriculum.
